1.2 Zaiden’s Family
So in the next few updates we will be seeing a lot of Zaiden’s family. I thought it would be best to introduce them to you beforehand. As it maybe confusing with who is who in brief pictures and captions. Be prepared he has a very large and complicate family tree! Family tree.
Jaime Dove: Zaiden Father and original legacy founder
Traits: Outgoing, Self Assured, Bookworm, Quick Learner
Aspiration: Computer Whiz
Jaime is a former playboy turned family man who ended up meeting the love of his life Eliza Pancakes when she became the boy’s nanny. A proud father of six he loves his children and will do anything for them. He has his own legacy which his oldest daughter Esme is set to inherit as she is his oldest daughter. Father and son have always been close except when he realised he could not be the heir to his father’s legacy.
Nancy Landgraab: Zaiden’s birth mother
Traits: Snob, Materalistic, Ambitious, Business Savvy
Aspiration: Fabulously Wealthy
Zaiden was the product of a brief affair between Nancy and Jaime after she helped him win custody of his oldest child Caiden. She had hardly any involvement in her son’s life choosing to let his father raise him. Nancy gave him the land he now lives on out of guilt in her later years. Zaiden became close to her in the years after Geoffrey Landgraab died. He takes a lot after her in the looks department and wishes that he knew his half-brother Malcolm better.
Eliza Dove (formley Pancakes) Nanny turned wife to Jaime. Zaiden’s adoptive mother.
Aspiration: Mansion Baron
Traits: Materialistic, Bussiness Savvy, Pefectionist, Neat
Eliza was hired by Jaime to care for his boys whilst he was at work. Zaiden and Eliza bonded well when he was a toddler, in the end she adopted him as her own after falling in love with Jaime. After her former husband Bob had an affair. She is the mother figure in Zaiden’s life and the person he goes to for advice. She went on to have three of her own children with Jaime: Lawrence, Luka (twins) and Esme. Eliza is the familie’s emotional rock and this became even more important when Jaime was abducted my aliens and had gave birth to his Megan. Now she is helping to raise Megan and holds the family together in her own unqiue way.
Caiden Dove- Oldest Child of and he is Zaiden’s older brother.
Traits:Lazy, Great Kisser, Collector, Creative, Outgoing
Aspiration: The Curator
Caiden was also a product of his father’s short relationship with . His father fought for custody of him and won. Zaiden and Caiden have rhyming names due to their father’s interesting sense of humour. Both boys were very close as they grew up, not having their mothers around much meant they spent a lot of time together. Caiden is the spitting image of his father and came out as gay as a teen. He is now happily married to Lucas Munch.
Lawrence Dove: Kaiden’s Brother and shadow.
Traits: Goofball, Self Assured, Jealous, Home Turf, High Metabolism
Aspiration: City Native
Twin of Luka. Growing up Lawrence was a very book shy kid, close to his parents. He fails to understand his twin and has always been the quiet one. Respects Zaiden and until Megan came along he was Zaiden’s shadow. Aspires to be just like his older brothers.
Luka Dove: Brother and Town Playboy
Traits: Perfectionist, Active, Bookworm
Aspiration: Mansion Baron
Twin of Lawrence. Following in the footsteps of his father Luka is a major womaniser who is yet to have his own reality shock. He loves his family fearcley and although he doesn’t always understand his twin he loves him than anything.
Esme Dove (Teen) Sister
Traits: Good, Bookworm, Collector
Aspiration: Angling Ace
Spitting image of her, Esme is the daughter of Luka and wife Eliza Dove (formley Pancakes). Heir to her father’s legacy and Zaiden’s best friend. Esme is the second youngest sibling and much loved within the family. Although their is a large age gap between Esme and Zaiden they are very close as he helped his parents out with babysitting and raising her.
Megan Dove- Baby Sister
Trait: Silly
Born as the result of her father’s abduction, Megan is the spoilt youngest child of the family. Although an alien herself, her father could not bare to send her back to Sixam. Adopted by her Eliza she is now the light of their elder years. She also happens to adore Zaiden, following him around whenever he visits.
1.1 First Day, Building a home and Bumping into Mum
1. The Dove Legacy
I have been so inspired by my last part that I have decided to start a Legacy told just through pictures: A picturacy. I will post some written updates however most will be images. I would like to introduce you to my founder: Zaiden Dove.
Traits: Self Assured, Kleptomaniac, Goofball, Muser.
His aspiration is to be a Best Selling Author. He currently works in the Journalism career and is a level 4 Writer. I have made the legacy harder by starting it in the middle of his young adult life stage. He is the son of my original legacy founder Jaime Dove and one time fling Nancy Landgraab. Being one of my favourite sims of all time, I thought I would give him his dream of founding a legacy like his father. (As his sister inherited that right.) So Zaiden packed up his bags and took over the piece of land that his mother gave to him, since she has moved to Willow Creek, after their house renovations went wrong.
Part Fourteen: Calm Before the Storm!
Part Thirteen: Kaden
It wasn’t by chance that I was told by my sister to be a spy. Although we were born of the same mother we looked nothing alike. Both of us favoured our fathers, Susie looked somewhat like our mother, but I could easily have been another woman’s son. I always wondered who my father was, he died upon my birth. A life for life something the Amazons had believed in for centuries.
Susie had wanted me in this tribe to be her eyes and ears. I refused. I was nothing like her. So as punishment she decided to gift me to Piper, start again she said from nothing. In truth I was glad to be away from them, I had never really known Piper although my mother practically raised her from her arrival. Slaves were meant to be seen and not heard. Piper was different from the tribal daughters and my sister she believed in letting slaves voice their own opinions. Always helping us with the chores quietly in the night. It was different where she was from. She had two parents who loved her, something I had always wanted. She may have not noticed me but I did her.
It wasn’t just the way she treated us, but her heart’s genuine kindness, that’s why she was my mother’s favourite. Susie made out that giving Piper her own tribe was mum’s idea but it was just her way of getting rid of her. Reduce any claim Piper had to being Creator. Susie hated her with a secret vengeance and it was only now becoming apparent to Piper.
Being part of the Waters tribe was the best thing to happen to me. I am respected and have rights. We may only be small but we will fight. I will fight for her. As I have gotten to know my Creator over the last nine months, I have respected the quiet way she carries herself, her patience with Sofia and her beautiful smile. I don’t when it happened, but months of being alone together just did. I shouldn’t even be feeling this way, but when Milan was sent by Creator Hanale I felt the jealousy seep through. And now my sister was going to send me away to my death. When in this tribe I would be free, perhaps even have the chance to see my child grow with the person I wanted. She was going to force my Creator into a future she did not want. Make her breed with him- “No never.” I shouted, it would not happen. Not to me or the Creator I loved.
Part Twelve: Decision Time
It had taken four months for the tribes to come to a decision, it had been much longer than anyone anticipated. Tribes always seemed to work in this manner, the Creators wanting to take time to decide for their tribe’s best interests. Over the last few months I had taken up exercise as a way to distract myself. If there was to be a war, I would need to be able to defend my tribe. 
After five months of silence, Hanaele finally scheduled a meeting. Except she wanted it to just be me and her. I was nervous, I hoped it wouldn’t just be bad. When I arrived Hanale was in the kitchen cooking, the fact she had a knife out scared. Perhaps she didn’t agree and wanted to make a threat I had no idea.
“So I wanted to talk, Milan is currently living with me. Susie and I have met, she refuses to breed with him.”
“Why did you want me here? I asked as she continued to mix the salad.”
“I have a new proposal, you breed with my cousin. I will provide his younger brother to her at a time of her choice. That way we avoid war and our tribes will be connected- stronger. Kaden her brother will breed with me. You can then be free of their tribal influence and be connected to us forever. “
It surprised me that the two Creators had got together without my knowledge. They had hated each other for so long, I could only guess that I had hurt Susie. She had made Hanale suggest this, choosing not be present. I knew that I had be careful. I was pushed into a corner, it would only short amount of time before I would have to agree. I had no choice, my tribe was small and still building. Nothing compared to the both tribes together.
“Let me consult my tribe, give Kaden the choice”, I bit back bitterly. “Why did you meet without me? And how dare Susie not be here to tell me this herself.”
“She had a meeting with travellers today. “
“I’ll be back with my decision tomorrow.”
Sitting round the fire I explained the situation to Kaden and Sofia.
“How can they do this?” Sofia asked.
Kaden wasn’t happy. We had become close in the first few months of the tribe. Although he was a slave he had also become my trusted advisor and friend. He had experienced more tribal life than me, being the son of a a Creator meant he knew about politics. Arriving back to the fire he sat down between Sofia and I. “My sister should have not done this, she has disrespected you as my Creator. I will not have it! She has no rights to decide what happens to me. You are my Creator. It is your decision only.”
“What do you propose we do Kaden? I have been threatened and forced into this position.”
“You will not breed with him. He is a rake, always had been. I will not allow it!” he stormed off muttering to himself.
“Kaden!” I shouted after him.
Part Ten: The Mother Tribe
The one thing about Susie’s proposal to start my own tribe had been that I would always have to answer to the mother tribe: The Waters tribe. If Avalon were alive it would be a lot easier, but now I realised I needed to think like her. What would Avalon do? She would commission a meeting.
I managed to convince Hanaele to have a meeting with Susie at the Waters tribal grounds. I was nervous but knew it was the right to do.
“Why did you want this meeting Piper? It’s not like our tribes don’t get on.” Susie asked.
“I want to create a tribe alliance.”
“What?? With Susie.”
“Hanaele has offered me, Milan one of her tribes to form an alliance. I know if I do this it will cause problems.”
“What I don’t get is why Hanaele is here?”
“I want Hanaele to give Milan to you as a breeding slave. This will then provide an alliance between the families. Your other tribal women can use him for that purpose. He then will be free to return to his original tribe.”
“In what way will this benefit you Piper? “
“I don’t want to start a war by accepting the gift. It is not good for the tribes. I will agree to be in alliance and provide a monetary sum to it. My terms for that will be that my tribe will be free from mother tribe. I won’t have to report back to anyone and be free.”
“Have a think about it and let me know. “
Upon leaving Susie had a talk with Milan which surprised me. I had thrown them a curveball which they had to think about. Hopefully we would avoid war, and I would secure my tiny tribe’s future.
